The No. 26 bulb, also known as the FP26, is a flash bulb designed for use with focal plane shutters. It has an initial peak output at 20ms but with an extended plateau that peaks again at 30ms before tapering off. This extended output allows it to be used with faster shutter speeds found on focal plane shutters.
This is a clear bulb with a warmer color temperature of approximately 3800° K and is best suited for use with black and white films.
